Whoa – The Passioneering Anthem!

One year after Mahindra Racing recorded 'Formula E Goes Bollywood' in Santiago (Chile) – the third movie in the 'Bollywood' franchise, which won the team the 2018/19 Formula E Social Media Award – the squad returns with a new musical movement to sweep the all-electric racing series’ paddock.
Joining forces with Indian rap artist Brodha V, the team has produced ‘Whoa – The Passioneering Anthem’ a rap song that focuses on the team’s journey in Formula E and highlights the DNA of the all-electric racing series.
A classical twist to rap music
The multi award-winning Brodha V writes and composes music which is a fusion between mainstream hip-hop and Indian classical genre. He has featured in multiple Bollywood and South Indian movies and is one of India's best loved rappers for his unique style. His collaboration with Raftaar on the single 'Naachne Ka Shaunq' earned over 25 million online views.
Another nod to Mahindra Racing's cultural heritage
Brodha V's passion and signature style of music is what caught Mahindra Racing's attention when it was looking to build upon its Bollywood series and try something different in Season 6. Towards the end of last year, the independent rap artist partnered with one of Bangalore’s funniest YouTubers Jordindian. Their song achieved over 4 million views in under a month and its signature dance moves created a challenge movement on both Tik Tok and Instagram.
Mahindra Racing will return to the track in Chile as the ABB FIA Formula E Championship resumes on Saturday 18 January 2020 at 16.04hrs local time.
