GEN2 x M8ELECTRO
While the Formula E Championship might be only six years old, the technology racing around the track is ever-changing. After four seasons competing with the very first all-electric single-seater, the 2018/19 season saw 22 brand new Gen2 cars racing around city circuits. The 2020/21 season will see the Gen2 cars on the grid for a third season.
The Batmobile-esque racer has double the energy storage capacity of the Gen1 car, meaning it can complete a whole race, so no more mid-race car swaps. With 250kW of power, the Gen2 accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.8-seconds and has a top speed of 280km/h.
