MAHINDRA RACING SEOUL E-PRIX PREVIEW

– ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Season 8
– Round 15 & 16 – Seoul, South Korea
– Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 August

This race weekend sees Mahindra Racing reach a momentous milestone in its Formula E history, with the second race in Seoul being the team’s (and the championship’s) one hundredth. With this landmark achievement and the Gen 2 era drawing to a close, the first ever Seoul E-Prix looks to be an exciting event.

“I’m really looking forward to going to Seoul, it is a new country for me and a new track for us all. The layout around the Olympic Park looks like it should be cool, with a really interesting set of corners. The humidity will bring some challenges, so we’ll see how that mixes things up.”

#29 Alexander Sims

“Coming off the back of the disappointment of London, we’ll be looking to try and score some points this weekend. It’s a new track for everyone so there’s a chance to start quicker than everyone else and see what we can get out of it. It has been a difficult season, but hopefully we can wrap up Gen2 on a positive note and celebrate the team’s 100th race with a good performance too!”

#30 Oliver Rowland

“This weekend in Seoul we will be celebrating one hundred races in Formula E. Looking back at where we began and where we are now, I’m proud of the journey we have been on and the impact we have had along the way. Since London the team has been hard at work in the factory, and I’m hoping for a strong weekend on track in order to celebrate this milestone and end the season on a high.”
